Drupal Camp Austin 2009

I had the distinct privilege this weekend to attend the Drupal Camp Austin 2009 event, and had an absolute blast. I'd have to say my highlights were the keynote address by Ben Finklea (Volacci) on Building a Successful Drupal Business, Drupal Theming by Lauren Roth, Views, Views, Views by John "eight-bit" Robinson, Accelerated Grid Theming Using 960 with Todd Nienkerk, and Business Development For Drupal Development with Ron Northcutt.

  • For Noobs Like Me: FCK Editor Module Installation

    While I was at Drupal Camp Austin 2009, one of the speakers had a WYSIWYG (pronounced whizzywig) editor in the  content creation node of his Drupal installation. After doing a little bit of research,  I found the FCK Editor module for Drupal. Fairly easy to install, once I figured out how to do it and with some help from an excellent video tutorial. Here's your sticky points:

  • Martini's Mansion CD Cover

    Earlier this year, I was commissioned by good friend and fabulous Seattle chanteuse and songwriter Christy McWilson to design her next album cover, "Martini's Mansion". The album was released earlier this year and it was marvelously produced by Jim and Johnny Sangster.
